Je viens de me rendre compte que mon adresse mail « contact@davidhuitorel »
ne fonctionnait plus depuis un « certain » temps.
Le souci venait de mon hebergeur internet mais c’est maintenant RESOLU !

par contre tu t’es trompé dans le prénom du jeune homme, il s’appelle pas Cyril.
c’est au Tapage à la Rivière Saint-Louis, non?

magnifiques photos, aussi magnifiques que notre rencontre avec toi David…comme quoi, sur Internet, on trouve aussi de belles « choses »…Nous t’adorons…vraiment…et tu as fait l’unanimité en ce grand jour…même mon parrain te trouve extra…et tu n’imagines pas à quel point son regard est critique sur tout!!!
Tu es généreux de ta personne, et tes photos le confirment…
James et Ingrid Christies sont des amis de 30 ans(enfin presque), qui tiennent le RAN un blog de news sur La Reunion en anglais, dans le cadre de leur entreprise de formation d’anglais « Anglophonic« .
Ingrid a eu la gentillesse de faire un interview sur mon approche de la photographie de mariage.
Le texte en entier et donc en anglais :
“I’m passionate about life.”An affirmation which wonderfully defines David Huitorel’s work. This month I met him for you. He is a photographer specialized in weddings or should I say, an Artist…? David says that he has always been in touch with artistic activities : sculpting, painting…. But, one day without knowing it, he found his Grail : using photography as a way to get to meet people and share a bit of their life. ”I like to meet people, but what I like most is to share a part of their history.“
Before the wedding day, David likes to take the time to know the couple. During their first meeting, his objective
is to learn more aboisutotlheeairnstory, because as David says : “The only way for me to make nice pictures is to be moved by them, by their story. What I want to show in my pictures is only the truth.” The second meeting is a photo-shoot a few days before the wedding, in a place the couple have chosen. A good way for him to share
an imntoimeantet omfotmheinr t and to get the gist of their life. Then when the big day arrives, David is there, wandering around, sharing moments, events, looking for the truth… The type of photography David does is very common on the west coast of the United States, especially in California. This trend started with a new way of rethinking the wedding. More and more couple want this day to be very special, a reflection of themselves, a reflection of their story and feelings and absolutely not a copy of their parents’ wedding. It’s not the traditional way of shooting weddings but a new trend using the technique of photo reporters, where what the picture tells is more important than the beauty of the photo. En attendant les photos du mariage de Guillaume et Ombline, voici quelques moments du mini-studio.
Je leur est trouvé un fond rien que pour eux, qui était pile poil dans le thème de la soirée au Village Bienvenue : les étoiles.
Bon comme toujours, je n’ai pas pu m’empecher d’y participer. Un petit jeu ? Trouvez David !

je vois des sosies partout en ce moment -_-
c’est sympa ce photo gadiamb’, ça permet aux invités de se lâcher, pendant le mariage.

Le cadeau ? Ben.. un café ou un thé autour d’une causerie, ca te dis ?
Et en effet, Melanie Doutey à un petit air d’Ombline (c’estdrole, c’est plutot dans ce sens que vois les choses)
Et puis ya pas que les invites qui ont droit de se lacher devant le photogadiamb !

J’adore cette session, ça me fait penser a un style Omar et Fred ( dont je suis fan). Un peu décalé et pleins de vie! Sympa de te voir un peux sur les photos David…
La session d’engagement de Sandrine et James, au jardin Pamplemousse, sur l’ile Maurice (à seulement 200 bornes de chez moi !) est sur le blog tout neuf, tout beau de Cynthia.
